| dc.description.abstract | Ultrasound technology has become an important aspect in material handling and machining. This paper describes the application of standing and traveling ultrasonic waves in powder transportation and how their usefulness in feeding, dosing and supply of small amounts of powder with high accuracy. Piezoelectric actuators have been used to generate the ultrasonic waves in various devices. These devices have presented a unique and simple means of accurate transportation of powder. | en_US |
